Hafsa Khan, aka Haf and Haf
Hafsa Khan, aka Haf and Haf, is an artist and immigration advocate from Columbus, Ohio. Recently settling in Queens, her grandparents’ home, this chapter of her work and life are focused on watering her roots.
Haf is originally a painter who now works in graphic design. She has been an artist for almost 15 years and an immigration advocate for 8. She has been working to incorporate all of her identities to produce work that reflects her hyphenated self: Muslim - American - Pakistani - Woman - Artist.
Her art focuses on showcasing the beautiful, immigrant women that make up the south Asian diaspora and the themes of spirituality, romance, and fashion that make up their ingredients. Haf calls herself a Midwest Maharani - combining her heritages. Introducing the world to the everyday royalty present in the spirit of a south Asian woman.
