Timothy Isaiah Cho, Owner & Head Roaster
Timothy remembers his first sip of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe on a Sunday morning in 2008. The flavors, the smells, the experience of a beautiful, quality cup of fresh roasted coffee. Since then, he has been on a mission to help others have this experience as well. In 2018, he began home roasting with a modified air popper. Over the years, he honed his skills while graduating to roasting in a stovetop popcorn popper on a modified gas grill. Finally, with real micro roasting equipment, he’s ready to share his years of experience with unique and delicious roasts that are sure to please.
Timothy is also extremely passionate about local efforts for racial justice and solidarity. In light of this, he founded Mosaic Coffee, LLC so that he could highlight local BIPOC artists and creatives in the Columbus metro area. All of our branding and designs - from our logos to our coffee bag labels to our merch - are designed by local BIPOC.
